Burley, Jon (Michigan State University, USA)

Dr. Jon Bryan Burley, is a registered Landscape Architect (39 years), an MSU associate professor of landscape architecture in the School of Planning, Design, and Construction (teaching in higher education of 45 years), a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), a life member in the Ecological Society of America (ESA), and a life member in the American Society for Mining and Reclamation (ASMR).

Vaz, Eric (Ryerson University, Canada)

Professor Eric Vaz is tenured Associate Professor and Director of the Laboratory for Geocomputation, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, Ryerson University, as well as Editor of Elsevier’s Habitat International. With over eighty scientific contributions in his field, he was distinguished in 2012 with the nomination of “Rising Star” by the Regional Science Association International.

Cerdà, Artemi (Valencia University, Spain)

Artemi Cerdà is a Full Professor in Physical Geography at the Department of Geography (Valencia University) and Head of the Soil Erosion and Degradation Research Group. Editor and member of editorial boards of 25 journals, author of 350 research papers and books.

Ferreira, Ricardo (European Commission)

Ricardo, Portuguese, holds a PhD in Applied Economics (Spain); a Master in International Business (Norway) and a degree in Economics (Portugal).  
Currently is the coordinator of the Border Focal Point in European Commission’s DG REGIO in the unit for Cross-Border Cooperation (BFP fosters to enhance Cross-Border interactions in EU internal borders, in several thematic areas)
